What does The Future do?
The Future (thefuture.ca) is a boutique consultancy that applies AI to commerce and customer revenue (discovery, basket size, checkout, returns, retention and renewal) for human shoppers and for the AI agents now shopping on their behalf.
How much does an engagement cost?
The Diagnostic is a fixed fee agreed before we start. Build engagements are scoped after the diagnostic and usually run eight to fourteen weeks. Advisory retainers are monthly. We share pricing on the first call.
How long until we see results?
The diagnostic takes three to four weeks. A first use case usually reaches a measured test in six to ten weeks after that. We design every build with a holdout so results are provable.
How do you handle our data and security?
We work inside your environment wherever possible, follow least-privilege access, sign NDAs and data-processing agreements, and keep customer data in your systems. Model providers are chosen with your security team, including options that do not train on your data.
Do you work with our existing platforms?
Yes. We are fluent in Salesforce, including Agentforce and Commerce Cloud, and platform agnostic beyond it: Shopify, Adobe Commerce, Braze, Klaviyo, n8n and the major model providers. We build on what you have before recommending anything new.
Where do you work?
Anywhere. We are headquartered in Toronto and work with clients worldwide, remotely and on site.
Who will actually do the work?
Senior people. The founder leads every engagement personally, with a small bench of specialist partners brought in by need. No junior hand-offs.
